Dear visitors to Berlin,
Please note that an extended "2G rule" applies in many places in Berlin.
The "2G rule" provides:
- Admission is restricted to persons who have been fully vaccinated or are considered to have recovered.
- The proof of vaccination and recovery must be digitally verifiable - for example via the Corona Warn app of the federal government or the CovPass app of the Robert Koch Institute. Printed QR codes are digitally verifiable. European proofs are also mostly accepted.
This "2G rule" is extended in Berlin with additional protective measures, namely mandatory masks or tests or distance rules and capacity restrictions. This applies, among other things, to indoor gastronomy, retail, overnight stays, Christmas markets, museums, cinemas, theatres, clubs, concert halls and similar cultural facilities, city tours, guided city tours and similar tourist offers, as well as saunas, thermal baths and similar facilities.
In addition, dancing is not allowed in clubs until further notice.
The respective organisers will inform you exactly which rules apply.
All important and up-to-date information on the Corona situation in Berlin can be found on the website of the Berlin Senate (in German).
If you are travelling from abroad, please note the current entry regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany.
