On July 13, the event series “Pride in Concert” kicks off the peak of Berlin Pride Month with an exclusive live performance by Conchita Wurst. Set against the stunning backdrop of the historic Renaissance-Theater Berlin, the queer icon and internationally acclaimed singer will unveil her brand-new “Pre Pride Show” in an unforgettable evening of music and emotion.

“Pride in Concert” is presented by Place2Be.Berlin, our queer tourism and event platform that has already brought celebrated formats to life, including the drag summer festival “Queens & Flowers” at the Berlin Botanical Garden. Following the acclaimed premiere of “Pride in Concert” last year at the Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace — featuring the project “Forget Me Not,” which spotlighted queer classical composers — the summer concert series now returns in spectacular fashion with Conchita Wurst. Since her Eurovision victory in 2014, Conchita has become one of the defining voices of contemporary LGBTIQ+ culture worldwide.

The Berlin premiere of her new show blends timeless classics, major pop anthems, and today’s most empowering hits. In the grand auditorium of the Renaissance-Theater — a venue infused with the glamour and spirit of Berlin’s Golden Twenties — Conchita takes audiences on an emotional journey that moves effortlessly between intimate ballads and electrifying high-energy moments.

Accompanied by a powerful live band featuring guitar, bass, piano, and drums, the evening promises cinematic soundscapes, magnetic charisma, and deeply uplifting performances. More than just a concert, it becomes a musical safe space where community members and allies come together to celebrate — filled with emotion, nostalgia, and modern pop euphoria.

Following the concert, guests are invited to continue the evening at the bar of the Bruckner Café inside the Renaissance-Theater, open until 11:00 PM.
