Folsom Europe 2025
Since 2004 FolsomEurope e. V. has been organizing the Folsom Street Fair in Berlin-Schöneberg — and with growing success! After around 3,500 leather guys and fetish fans attended the first edition, the association expects well over 20,000 visitors from all over the world to attend this year's big gathering of the kinky community, which will take place on August 30th from 12:00 in Fuggerstraße and Welserstraße. On top the appeal of Folsom is no longer limited to the classic fetish scene but is also attracting more and more open-minded and curious Berliners. This makes Folsom, alongside the Lesbisch-schwulen Straßenfest and CSD, to one of the most important players in queer city life, ensuring visibility and standing for diversity.
One thing is different this year, though: for the first time (and according to the association only one time) Folsom Europe will not take place in September as usual. This is due to organizational and social reasons: on the one hand the association did not want to hold a second major event alongside the Berlin Marathon (September 21st) and on the other wanted to take into account the start of the school year in the neighborhood which also falls in mid-September. However, this decision has not any negative impact on the Folsom Europe program with its numerous satellite events and big parties. On the contrary! All kinksters, leathermen, police officers, motocross riders, puppies, furries and other fetish enthusiasts of all genders can look forward to a richer program than ever before!
